FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN We are so blessed to have a large number of children in our church family! Families regularly gather for evenings of pizza and games, although anyone is welcome to participate (young children are not a requirement). During the summer months, you will find moms and their kiddos at various parks throughout B/N for "Fun in the Sun"; enjoying playing outdoors and a picnic lunch together. FAMILY FUN NIGHTS Several years ago we adapted the traditional Vacation Bible School format to better fit our congregation. Dinner, singing, crafts and Bible stories are presented in an intergenerational format on several Wednesday evenings during Lent, culminating with a Sunday morning worship service and fellowship meal with the entire congregation.
below is the schedule for "Fun in the Sun" park dates for this summer. We realize not everyone is able to attend these since they are during the day, but want everyone to have the schedule in case you find yourself able to attend one (or more) days! And feel to pass this on to/invite your friends! Any questions can be directed to me (Joanna) at 862-2546.
June 9 (Wed): Anderson Park, Normal

June 24 (Thurs): Tipton Trails Spray Park
10 a.m. Don’t forget swimsuits and sunscreen.

July 7 (Wed): Underwood Park
, Linden and Jersey in Normal

July 22 (Thurs): Fairview Park, Normal
10 a.m. Don’t forget swimsuits and sunscreen.

Aug. 4 (Wed): Rollingbrook Park (Hershey St), Bloomington
10 a.m. Bring a picnic lunch.
