You are invited to the Congregational Meeting on May 15, 2016 at 1:00 pm.  It is preceded by a Congregational Meal, which is a fund raiser for the Senior High Youth’s trip to the 2017 MC USA Youth Convention.  The agenda of the Congregational Meeting is to provide information about the work of the Church Board over the past several months.  The following documents will be addressed during the meeting: Church Board Covenant Organizational Chart Roles and Responsibilities Graphic Roles and Responsibilities at the Mennonite Church of Normal Core Values

On July 17, the Junior High Mennonite Youth Fellowship served those in need of food by volunteering at the Midwest Food Bank.  Some of the activity is pictured below.  A special thanks for Sarah Nichols for taking the pictures and providing other assistance.

MCN’ers have been having fun in the sun. On June 4, we were at Underwood Park, on July 2, we went to Rollingbrook Park and had fun with bubbles.  June 17 at Tipton Trails got rained out, but we have two more coming up, July 15 at Miller Park, and July 30 at Ewing Park I.  Here is the website to sign up.  All the Fun in the Sun events start at 10:00 am and go until noon.  Many families with young children think this is great; all ages are welcome.  

On Saturday, June 6, 21 adults and children spread mulch around the landscaped areas of the Mennonite Church of Normal. We had a beautiful day, lots of help, great refreshments and good “coverage.”  All the plants, and all who look on our renewed landscaping say a big thanks.
