Who is the best bean bag tosser in the East Central Cluster?

Each of the groups listed below is active, and are open to new members.   Contact the church office for more information, to express interest in becoming involved in one of these these groups, or to explore options for something new.

Area Clusters
Area Clusters include all attenders at MCN. Within the seven regionally organized Area Clusters, we offer hospitality to each other, (especially newcomers), celebrate life events, and offer assistance and encouragement to each other in times of need.

Group Bible & Book Studies  Studying the Bible together is an important part of the Anabaptist-Mennonite tradition.

  • Men’s Sharing and Prayer Group  meets once a week before the start of the workday at Recycling Furniture for Families in downtown Bloomington, IL.
  • Women’s Prayer Group meets weekly during the daytime.
  • Women’s Bible Studies are currently daytime groups.
  • Group Book Studies  Currently one men’s and two women’s book groups meet during the daytime.

Homebuilders This lively group gets together on the fourth Sunday evening of the month from September through April at the MRC Community Building.  Topics vary widely, from ecology to religion to finance. 

HopiQuiltMennonite Women  meet monthly to worship and undertake projects. Some examples of projects include health and school kits for distribution by Mennonite Central Committee, quilts and comforters for tornado victims and for the Mennonite Relief Sale. Mennonite Women is open to ALL women of the church.
