Believing is our focus on the Second Sunday of Easter. In John 20:19-31, the Disciples were fearing for their lives behind locked doors. They struggled to believe Mary’s eye-witness testimony: “I have seen the Lord.” In his sermon, “Believing with Hope and Resilience,” David Boshart, President of Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, in Elkhart, Indiana, invites us to believe that as we interact in the world, we are the evidence of Jesus’ resurrection.
