Our July 18 worship service will be a celebration of music in worship. It will include congregational singing, dedication of the new hymnal, Voices Together, and a meditation by Denise Hedberg, “Reflections on the Holy Spirit in Glorious Sound.” The meditation will consider the role of music in building faith and community, the contribution of a small group at illuminating the spiritual gifts, and the challenges and opportunities to trusting that God will do more than we can imagine alone.
