Luke concludes his gospel narrative with another story of Jesus appearing to his disciples (24:36-49), just before he ascended. They thought he was a ghost, until they touched his scars, and watched him eat. On this Third Sunday of Easter, Pastor Gary’s sermon, “Do you have something to eat?” invites us to reflect on Jesus’ consistent pattern of asking others to meet his needs, in this story which also contains Luke’s version of the Great Commission.
